PUPPET MANIFESTO #17
- Obtain small paper bag, markers, do-dads.
- Lay bag flat with flap created by folded bottom at the top, facing you.
- Make eyes and a nose on the flap and a mouth along the crease.
- Insert hand into bag allowing fingers (digits) to curl around the inner crease.
- Open and close your hand/puppet’s mouth.
- Open and close your mouth.
- Good. Talk yourself through it.

We pull the string and make the mouth move.
It always sounds better when they say it.
We pull the string and make the eyes droop slowly.
It’s much more clever when they do it.
String of 164 Digits. Strings//Digits. Speaking though our puppets and performance we hope you will allow yourself to relate to them on a level you wouldn’t allow yourself to relate to us.

Delight in wonder.
Their movements are by our control. Their actions relate our themes. Their performance is our art.
